FORAGE SEED

We carry a wide diversity of summer annual forage grasses for grazing, silage, baleage and/or green chopping. All of these forage species are tolerant to heat and have excellent yields in the heat of summer when traditional forage grasses go dormant.

Sorghum and Sorghum-Sudan hybrids are tall growing, high yielding grasses excellent for baleage or silage. Millets are finer stemmed, have no prussic acid concerns and are suitable for summer dry hay. Rox orange cane adds palatability and sugars to silage mixes. Manage grazing and fertilization of annual forage grasses carefully during drought periods.
